RAW-DRY SALAMI FACTORY EXTENSION PROJECT
The extension is an L-shaped, two-storey, partially three-storey building, with a total built-up area of 3,927 sq m. The infrastructure is made of simple concrete block foundations and reinforced concrete lining under the pillars, connected with continuous simple concrete block foundations and reinforced concrete belts under the walls, the floor being made from reinforced concrete with welded nets.
The superstructure is made of monolithic reinforced concrete frames placed in two perpendicular directions, with monolithic reinforced concrete floors.
The exterior closures were made of BCA masonry, stiffened with reinforced concrete pillars, covered on the outside with corrugated steel sheets, similar to the existing facades of the buildings and sandwich panels on the inside, the thickness being different depending on the purpose of the premises.
The roof is flat, with heat-resistant bituminous membranes. Thermal insulation on the terrace was made from expanded polystyrene protected with reinforced screed with slopes.
For emergency evacuations, an external metal staircase was also arranged from HEA pillars, anchored in foundations with bolts, and the steps were made of striped metal sheets mounted on rectangular tube profiles. Vertical movement of goods is made by means of two interiour elevators. The technological bridge is a structure of metallic profiles mounted on the pillars of the ground floor structure.
The inner divisions were made from sandwich panels, their thickness depending on the purpose of the spaces and the degree of fire resistance. Floors were made of anti-acid tiles with slopes to floor drains. The nonstructural ceilings were made of sandwich panels.
This project was carried out from 01.02.2016 to 12.09.2016.
